Katie Moberly is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and composer who graduated from Durham University studying Electro-Acoustic Music Composition alongside History of Art. Her own work as an artist and jazz singer has seen her perform in the Pizza Express Jazz Café, Soho, and at the Pink Flamingo Jazz Club at Shambala Festival. She is currently developing her debut album with members from the UK’s leading Afro-Dub, Future-Jazz collective Nubiyan Twist. Alongside her personal music career, Katie is dedicated to educate, inspire and help individuals through music. In 2012 she led a project teaching music to Cambodian orphans in a remote village in Cambodia, and since then has led award-winning choirs and composed and directed music for Acorn Music Theatre Company’s modern adaptation of The Odyssey.
